Monica Keating is the deceased mother of Layla Keating and wife of JP Keating. She was a singer-songwriter, accountant and office administrator of Keating Records.

- In "Mask Off", it was mentioned that she handled the accounting and set up basic Excel templates for JP Keating to fill in the accounts because JP (and later Olivia) are rather inept in accounting.
