Layla's is a bar and lounge located in South Crenshaw, opened by Layla Keating and her business partner, Ryan. It occupies the former site of the Slauson Café.
History[]
In "Things Done Changed", the lounge has its opening night. Patience was set to perform, but she fled the stage when she began hallucinating Miko.
In "Connection", Layla mentions that she is redecorating the lounge for a big event the next day, which could generate a lot of good publicity for the place. However, when she and Jordan arrive, they discover that everything is broken and the place has been trashed.
In "Passin’ Me By", Layla mentions that somebody hacked the security system and erased the surveillance footage, leading Patience to believe that Miko was responsible. In the end, it turns out that it was the woman who wanted to turn the Slauson Café into a hot yoga studio. She was still bitter after losing out to Layla.
