History[]
Season Two[]
In "They Reminisce Over You", Gwen calls Asher and asked to meet for lunch tomorrow. It's been a year, and she has something important she wanted to talk about. The next day, Gwen meets Asher and Olivia at The Hangout. They share a hug. She implicitly asks if they are dating. They say no, but Gwen thinks that they look cute together. She invites them to sit and asks Asher to tell her about his life. He points out that it has been a year and asks what has changed. Gwen can’t quite explain it, but she admits that she has missed him every day. She tells them that Jacob, her boyfriend, proposed. She says Asher is being suspiciously quiet, but he claims that he doesn't even know Jacob. Gwen says that's going to change. Asher tries to leave, but she says the real reason that she asked him to lunch is because she can't marry Jacob until her and Harold are officially divorced. However, Harold keeps avoiding the divorce papers, she's tried to serve him eight times. Gwen hopes that Asher will give his father the divorce papers. She believes that finalizing the divorce is the best thing for everybody. Before leaving, she tells Asher that she loves him, kisses him on the forehead, and walks away.
Later, she meets with Harold, who finally hands her the signed divorce papers. She expresses her desire for Asher to be in her life, but Harold reminds her of their deal: if she stays out of Asher’s life, he won’t tell Asher the truth about her. Gwen starts to walk away, but she tells Harold that he can tell Asher, but the only person he's going to be hurting is Asher, not her.
